Laser enhanced air quality monitoring

Remote sensing of small particles is possible only by laser radars (Lidar). As normal radars use long radiowaves, lidar relies on short flashes of light that scatter back from targets such as aerosols or clouds.

Both weather and air quality sensing benefit from particle information significantly. We are devoloping novel lidar techniques for air quality and weather sensing applications.
