The key research issue is the role of energy companies (including electricity retail, district heat business and energy services) and electricity network companies in the future energy system, especially value creation related to energy system flexibility (including consumption and production flexibility and energy storages) as part of the Green Transition.

The aim of the study is to create an overall view of the business opportunities for energy companies' services to active customers, in which data-based solutions play a key role, and the role of these services in the value creation of the sector-integrated energy system.
